All Trials Campaign Launch in US

On July 29, over 50 organisations, representing 500,000 patients, doctors, and researchers in the United States, came together to launch the AllTrials campaign in the US. They join a worldwide campaign calling for every clinical trial—past, present, and future—to be registered and the results from it reported.  Why?  Because we want to fix medicine and science.

The campaign has achieved a lot in Europe in the last 2 years but changes to culture and practice of clinical trial reporting need to be global.  A vibrant public campaign that puts the issue on the agenda in the US is going to be vital to achieve the changes needed. We are very excited that Sense About Science USA will be running the US AllTrials campaign.

Over 50 new US organisations have joined AllTrials. Much of this was down to one man, Gregg Gonsalves at the Yale Global Health Justice Partnership.  Gregg reached out to friends and colleagues and asked them to ask their organisations to join the campaign.  Could you follow Gregg’s example and contact your colleagues and ask them to join our campaign now and keep the momentum of the US launch going?  You can send them our contact information, so that they can join us.
